Jenn moved to Tennessee from Maryland to be closer to family and to pursue her nursing degree. She worked at an animal hospital in Maryland for 18 years prior to her arrival in northeast Tennessee. She has 2 pitbulls, 4 cats, and 2 snakes- all in which are rescues. She also has a horse and enjoys riding in her spare time. She is a welcome addition to the Dog and Cat Depot Team.
Kasey is the proud mother of a baby boy. She has three dogs, four cats and a turkey that thinks Kasey is his girlfriend. She has always lived in Hawkins County and is grateful that she can take care of dogs and cats in her home community. She enjoys her time as a Vet Assistant at the Dog and Cat Depot, and looks forward to many years to come!
Wayne Lilly was raised in southern West Virginia on a beef cattle farm. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. After graduation he practiced mixed animal medicine for six years and has since practiced small animal medicine. He has a special interest in dentistry and surgery. He has assisted licensed wildlife rehabilitators for over 25 years by providing medical care to sick and injured wildlife. He and his wife have two children and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church, gardening and beekeeping. We are thrilled to have Dr Lilly on board providing surgical and dental services!
Congratulations to Nicole! She graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in the spring of 2020 with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. She plans to continue her studies to receive her Bachelor's Degree. She loves caring for her animals and other animals in need. She is a very hard and reliable worker. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and is open to new ideas. We are lucky to have her as a member of the Dog and Cat Depot team.

Chelsie moved to Rogersville with her two children ten years ago from a small town in southern central Kentucky where she served as a part time puppy trainer. She was a long time General Manager at a local business in Rogersville before joining Dog and Cat Depot as a Veterinary Assistant in May of 2019. She has enjoyed meeting and caring for everyone she meets as well as watching your furbabies grow. She loves all creatures big and small and has a passion for nature. In her spare time she loves to work with her 3 year old Australian Shepherd, Izabel, on agility and Frisbee as well as spending time with her family, hiking, and reading comics.
Ryan is a rising 3rd year veterinary student at Lincoln Memorial College of Veterinary Medicine. He likes to ride his motorcycle and to be outdoors. His favorite hobby is fishing especially on the ocean. He is a welcome addition to our team during his summer and holiday breaks.
Natalie grew up with animals and has enjoyed riding horses since she was three years old. She enjoys running, golf, and reading. She is excited about being a part of the Dog and Cat Depot team and caring for your furry family members. She will be starting her last year of high school in the Fall of 2020 and hopes to continue down a path of animal care after graduation.

Brooke is currently enrolled in ETSU and is studying criminal justice and psychology. In her free time she enjoys reading, painting, and watching crime documentaries. At home she lives with two dogs, Noelle and Phedora, six cows, a cat named Mitty, and is the proud owner of a bearded dragon named Kodein. She is a welcome addition to our team!
Robert Nix grew up in south Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He and his wife, a veterinarian in Johnson City, live in Jonesborough. They are both fond of cats and have two cats, Jumbo (pictured) and Liesel.
Brenda and her husband have been involved with animal rescue for years. Their first love in life is their menagerie at home consisting of 3 dogs, 3 cats, 3 miniature horses and 2 full size horses. Most were adopted or taken in as strays. Their second love is riding their motorcycles all over the country with their three Shih Tzus' who go everywhere with them. Brenda has worked with local Vets, rescue groups and spay/neuter in East Tennessee since 2003.
Katie Hazzard graduated from St. George’s University in 2015. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Knoxville then continued to work as an emergency veterinarian. She now does relief work in Tennessee. She joined the team at the Dog and Cat Depot in January 2021. She enjoys being outdoors and loves Disney. She lives in Knoxville with her dogs, Joy and Penny and her cats, Lemmy, Onion and Poe-tater.
Sinclair is a Pre-Vet student at Lincoln Memorial University, and has lived in the Surgoinsville, TN area since 2008. She is an active member of 4-H, her church, and her family's business. A lover of large and small animals alike, she lives on her family farm with 50+ head of registered cattle, 3 alpacas, 3 cats, and 6 dogs. She enjoys activities involving friends and family, such a hiking around her campus or showing cattle. Sinclair loves to learn new things about animals and how to care for them, and is excited to be a member of the Dog and Cat Depot team.
Kevin is a woodworker by trade, which was a tremendous help during renovation of the clinic, which he oversaw. He enjoys horseback riding, to include Civil War reenacting with the Cavalry. An avid outdoors-man, he takes full advantage of beautiful East Tennessee where he has resided for all of his adult life.
Anna Lott-Barron was born and raised in south Mississippi and enjoyed riding horses as she grew up. She attended Mississippi State University where she obtained a B. S. in biology as well as her DVM. She has been practicing as a spay and neuter surgeon since graduating in 2014 and hopes to continue this work for a long time. She now lives in Tennessee with her husband, two children, two dogs and a kitten. She joined the team at the Dog and Cat Depot in October, 2019. We are very fortunate and thrilled to have her on board!
Lisa Twark graduated from the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She has lived in Rogersville, TN since that time and worked at several veterinary hospitals, shelters and spay-neuter clinics in the region before opening the Dog and Cat Depot. She is honored to have the opportunity to continue serve the dogs and cats of this region. She enjoys spending quiet time at home with her husband and menagerie of animals, as well as hiking, traveling, and reading.
Megan recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and will soon be pursuing higher education in the veterinary field. She has been a huge asset to the Dog and Cat Depot since joining our family in the summer of 2020. In her free time, Megan likes to fish, cook, read, and spend time with her family. We look forward to having her on the team while she continues to advance her education!"
A photographer, farmer, and vet assistant. Myra has been around animals her whole life. She and her husband recently moved back to East Tennessee from South Dakota to be closer to family. Myra enjoys spending time with her dogs, cats, horses, and highland cows on the farm. She also enjoys portrait, landscape, and animal photography. She has previous experience working in a veterinary clinic in South Dakota, and is excited to continue in this field of work as a part of the team at the Dog and Cat Depot.
