Kevin is a woodworker by trade, which was a tremendous help during renovation of the clinic, which he oversaw. He enjoys horseback riding, to include Civil War reenacting with the Cavalry. An avid outdoors-man, he takes full advantage of beautiful East Tennessee where he has resided for all of his adult life.
JERRY
Tracy Beeler is an East TN native and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. While spending most of her veterinary career as an emergency clinician, she's also volunteered and worked with animal rescues, humane societies and spay/neuter groups for almost 30 years.
Our Vets
Brenda has been involved with animal rescue for years. She has a 35 year old Miniature horse that she has had for 30 years, 2 big horses, a goat, 4 dogs and 3 cats. Most were adopted or taken in as strays. Her second love is riding her motorcycle all over the country. Brenda has worked with local Vets, rescue groups and spay/neuter in East Tennessee since 2003.

Scarlett has been a CNA for the last 20 years and worked in healthcare. She has always had a love for animals and has decided to make a career change. She has a 5 pound toy poodle named Piper who runs the household. She enjoy going for hikes with her family, fishing, and camping, anything outdoor really. She is excited to start this new path as a Vet Assistant with Dog and Cat Depot.
JAZZIE
BRENDA
Jaidynn joined the Dog and Cat Depot team in May of 2023. She recently moved from Florida to Tennessee and she has completed one year of the Veterinary Technician Program through Penn Foster. She has had several animals over the years including 3 Bearded Dragons, 3 cats and a Ball Python. She spends her free time doing makeup artistry, drawing, and spending time with her family. We are thrilled to have her on our team and to work with her in completing her Veterinary Technician training.
Annaica moved to Tennessee from Virginia to further her education and pursue a career in the veterinary field. She enjoys fishing and spending time with family and friends during her free time. She is a welcome addition to the team!
Karrigan moved to Rogersville in 2022 to join our team. She is enjoying learning the trade, and enjoys helping people take care of and help their fuzzy family members. In her down time she takes Krav McGraw self defense classes, enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and working with many different animals.
Megan has a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee and is pursuing higher education in the veterinary field. She is currently working on training for Fear Free Certification and has been a huge asset to the Dog and Cat Depot since joining our family in the summer of 2020. In her free time, Megan likes to fish, cook, read, and spend time with her family. We look forward to having her on the team while she continues to advance her education!"
Lacey Works full-time as a Medical Technologist on the human side of medicine. She has over 20 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant, including 15 years working at an emergency clinic. The Dog and Cat Depot is thrilled to have her experience and skill set several days a month. She mostly assists in surgery but you may see her from time to time in the lobby or exam rooms.
Lisa Twark graduated from the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She has lived in Rogersville, TN since that time and worked at several veterinary hospitals, shelters and spay-neuter clinics in the region before opening the Dog and Cat Depot. She is honored to have the opportunity to continue serve the dogs and cats of this region. She enjoys spending quiet time at home with her husband and menagerie of animals, as well as hiking, traveling, and reading.
Amber recently relocated to East Tennessee from Southern California. She started working in animal care facilities in 2007 gaining shelter and veterinary experience. She has collected a few field related certifications along the way and plans on continuing her education and experience in Tennessee. She looks forward to all the exploring to be done along the East Coast. She is a welcome addition to the team!

Chelsie moved to Rogersville with her two children ten years ago from a small town in southern central Kentucky where she served as a part time puppy trainer. She was a long time General Manager at a local business in Rogersville before joining Dog and Cat Depot as a Veterinary Assistant in May of 2019. She has enjoyed meeting and caring for everyone she meets as well as watching your furbabies grow. She loves all creatures big and small and has a passion for nature. In her spare time she loves to work with her Australian Shepherd, Izabel, on agility and Frisbee as well as spending time with her family, hiking, and reading comics. She is currently completing training to obtain her Fear Free Certification.

Wayne Lilly was raised in southern West Virginia on a beef cattle farm. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. After graduation he practiced mixed animal medicine for six years and has since practiced small animal medicine. He has a special interest in dentistry and surgery. He has assisted licensed wildlife rehabilitators for over 25 years by providing medical care to sick and injured wildlife. He and his wife have two children and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church, gardening and beekeeping. We are thrilled to have Dr Lilly on board providing surgical and dental services!
AMBER
Melanie was born and raised in Hawkins County. She attends Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with her husband, Kevin, where they have been Sunday school teachers and assistant youth leaders. Her heart and soul is her husband and children; Trevor (25), Keaton (21) and Kaylee (21). She has had a love and a passion for all animals since she was a little girl. She has a Yorkshire Terrier, Jazzie and cat named Jerry. She enjoys spending time with her family camping, cooking, fishing, traveling and collecting antiques. Dog and Cat Depot is thrilled to have her on the team as a Customer Support Specialist.

Ashton is a recent graduate of the Lincoln Memorial University Veterinary Medical Technology program. She also holds an Associates degree in Animal Science. Ashton has experience in shelter medicine, which is what led her to pursue a job at Dog and Cat Depot. She is excited to begin her career in veterinary medicine while continuing to learn about the health and care of animals. In her spare time, she likes to read, cross-stitch, and spend time with family and friends. She lives on a farm with 30+ head of cattle, two cats, and a dog. She has her Tennessee license as a Veterinary Technician.
Gerald Blackburn was raised on a small farm near Nashville.He graduated with honors from Auburn University in 1978 with his DVM degree. He has practiced in Tennessee his entire career with an emphasis on small animal medicine and surgery.

Robert Nix grew up in south Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He and his wife, a veterinarian in Johnson City, live in Jonesborough. They are both fond of cats and have two cats, Jumbo (pictured) and Liesel.
ANNAICA
Alyssa joined our team in May of 2022. She loves working with animals and has 4 dogs, a hermit crab and 2 rabbits. She has lived in Hawkins County her entire life. Some of her interests are, painting, playing guitar, and music. Still a high school student, she is one of our youngest employees and is working towards becoming a vet. We are pleased to have her with us during much of her summer break and then on evenings and weekends once school resumes.

Jen works with us on her breaks while in nursing school. She has many years of experience as a vet tech, and we always look forward to when she can come work with us.
Myra has been around animals her whole life. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, cats, horses, and highland cows on the farm. She also enjoys portrait, landscape, and animal photography. She has been working in a veterinary field for 6 years as a veterinary assistant. She is currently fear free certified.
ASHTON
Courtney is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that graduated from Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Allied Health Science Program with a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology in 2022. She works full time as a Surgery Technician for the Small Animal Team at LMU. We are thrilled to have her spend some weekends and holidays at the Dog and Cat Depot in appointments and surgeries. She grew up in Greeneville, TN and is a third generation cattle farmer. In her free time she likes to sleep, shop and watch Bull Riding. She has Milo, a Rottie/Hound mix (her favorite son) and Thomas, a Domestic Rabbit that she rescued from the outdoors.
